As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Charissa Lopez has a passion for helping parents, caregivers, and edcators to better connect and communicate with the children or students in their life.

In her private practice, Charissa counsels clients throughout their lifespan through her specialized training in children, adolescents, families, attachment, and trauma.

She enjoys speaking to adult audiences, specifically parents and educators, on the intersection of mental health, trauma, and attachment.

In this workshop, Charissa will train parents and educators in understanding how the body, emotions, and nervous system work together to impact the quality of relationships between parents and children, or educators and their students. She will cover how disconnect happens in relationships with our kids and teens and what we, as parents, can do to repair and recapture our children.

Charissa is happily married and has a son in elementary school.
