About Germard

Germard Reed, Jr. is the successful founder of Be Beyond Great. Despite his challenging upbringing in LA and struggles with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia, he has achieved significant success. 

 

Overcoming disabilities and hurdles, Germard emerged as an inspirational figure. His achievements include becoming an NFL star and the first in his family to graduate college, a testament to his transformative mindset and the influence of a supportive teacher. Germard’s impactful program captivates all. His story of succeeding against the odds is a motivational beacon, underscoring the importance of self-belief. Audiences will leave understanding the value of self-confidence and have more motivation to go after their dreams.

 

His passion is traveling across the nation speaking to millions of young adults, elite athletes, underprivileged youth, parents, and educators. Despite learning disabilities, Germard successfully attained a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in criminal justice from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Student Program

  • Students will gain renewed energy and a strong drive to attain any academic task or goal for future success.
  • Students will be thoroughly encouraged to rediscover confidence in their own unique abilities while becoming self-motivated to overcome their own significant challenges by someone who has been through a similar path as themselves.
  • Students gain an understanding of the value of cultivating a diverse range of skills by learning the important character traits which will ultimately lead to a positive campus culture. 
 

Parent Program

  • Parents grasp the significance of time with family is valuable to cultivating and sustaining strong family relationships!
  • By using personal interactions as prime examples to guide understanding, parents will learn to increase quality time for an authentic connection with their child who needs them more than they could ever imagine.
  • Parents learn that the most important person in their child’s live is them despite what society tells us. Their involvement is hugely important in the growth their child success.
  • Parents will gather information of how to properly engage or interact with the child to better connect with them personally.
 

Educator Program

  • Educators are encouraged to reflect on the personal yet profound influence they can have on student’s lives and are motivated to strengthen their relationships with them.
  • Educators gain insight into building connections with students from all diverse backgrounds by assisting them in overcoming academic as well as any cultural challenges they may encounter. 
  • Educators grasp the significance of “teamwork makes the dream work” by working together in collaboration to enhances morale, communication and culture. Most importantly it’s understood we all burnout but help staff remember why they started in the profession to prevents burnout.
