Dulce was in her senior year of high school when the pandemic hit. Dreams of going to prom and walking across the stage at graduation came to a halt, and online learning presented challenges and feelings of isolation. Dulce shares how YES was there for her during such a critical and unsure time in her life.

The 2022 Keith Davis U-Turn Award award recipient is Dre Hill, former student mentee and mentor in the YES Peer-to-Peer Mentoring program. After graduating high school, Dre joined the U.S. Navy and is now serving as a Navy SEAL. Watch the video above to learn more about Dre’s story and the impact YES has made on his life.
